MEDITATION

Meditation is a practice where the individual uses a technique, such as focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity, to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. It has been practiced since ancient times and in numerous religions and spiritualities.

The main way to meditate is to sit in a cross legged position. Hands resting on your knees, palms facing up. Sitting upright with your spine straight. Eyes closed and focusing on your third eye; the space in between your eyebrows. Observe the thoughts that pass through your mind without judgement. You can chant a mantra (a positive phrase or prayer) or use a breathing technique or just sit still and quiet. Sit anywhere from 5 minutes to and hour. You can do this daily.

Some people like guided meditations where they listen to someone guide them through the meditation process. You can do a walking meditation through the forest. Silently walking alone and observing nature. Some people prefer to walk through a labyrinth in silence. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are other forms of active meditations. There are so many different ways to meditate. Find what works for you.

Meditation is the very foundation to everything. It is our connection to our higher selves and to source i.e. God/Goddess, Source, The Universe, etc. It allows you to see what you are thinking. And if you have that awareness you can make changes in your life for the better. You can change your negative thought patterns and reprogram yourself to think positive thoughts. When you are thinking positive thoughts, your life becomes positive. You are now in a space to consciously manifest whatever your heart desires. Anything from excellent health, abundant financial wealth, the love of your life, to happiness, peace and a conscious life. You can have it all!
