Spa Rituals Healing Retreats ~ Organic Magnesium Body Products

Did you know that most people are Magnesium deficient? And did you know that Magnesium allows for over 333 processes to help your body function normally? When you are deficient you can see symptoms of chronic body pain, depression, fatigue, restless legs, migraines, irritability, anxiety, hypertension and so many more symptoms.

The best ways to supplement Magnesium is topically. I have been inspired by the Magnesium Movement and hand-crafted my own Organic Magnesium Body Products. I offer you Organic Hydrating Magnesium Body Butter, Organic Nourishing Magnesium Oil Spray, Organic Protecting Magnesium Deodorant, Organic Purifying Magnesium Bath Salts and an Organic Exfoliating Magnesium Sugar Scrub.

Prioritize Your Wellness.”

All of my Magnesium Body Products are hand-crafted in small batches using the highest quality organic and natural ingredients.  No Chemicals, parabens, sulfates, fillers or synthetic ingredients are used. No animal testing. 100% Vegan. Gluten, Soy and GMO Free. Biodegradable.

You can also supplement with Magnesium orally through vitamins and powdered drinks. But the best ways are through your skin. So, getting into a daily habit of applying any topical products is the best delivery of magnesium to your system. I used my Organic Magnesium Oil Spray I made for the first time and I had instant results of relief from my chronic back pain.

How do I use Organic Magnesium Oil?

Organic Magnesium Oil can be used multiple ways depending on your symptoms and location on the body.  If you have a backache, period cramps, leg cramps, or migraines then spraying it directly on those affected areas is best.  You can do this as often as you need pain relief.

Transdermal application (through the skin) is the best delivery for your daily allowance of magnesium.  This is if you are not getting enough magnesium in your diet. During the last 40 years, thousands of studies and research documents have been published proving that magnesium is a crucial nutrient supporting more than 333 functions in the human body.  Unfortunately, our soil on the Earth is depleted from Magnesium. So, once we were able to get our daily dose of magnesium in our green leafy vegetables with ease. Now we need to supplement magnesium to get our daily dosage.

How do I apply Organic Magnesium Oil?

Simply spray it onto your skin, rub it in and you are done! It is worth noting that when you start to use it you may notice a tingling sensation. This is totally normal and is often indicative of Magnesium deficiency.  If you are particularly sensitive, I recommend applying a moisturiser before or after spraying on the Organic Magnesium Oil and also starting with just 1-6 sprays to work up a tolerance. Make sure to leave it on for 30 minutes before taking a shower in order allow it to soak into your skin.  I spray it on after the shower while I doing my bathroom routine.

Other ways to get magnesium transdermally.

If you prefer something hydrating, then try my Organic Magnesium Body Butter.  You can apply this directly to the affected areas and you’ll get the benefits of the magnesium, organic shea butter, organic MCT oil and organic essential oils to moisten and nourish the skin.

Taking a bath is a great way to get a deeper level of magnesium into your body and to help relax sore muscles.  I offer Organic Magnesium Bath Salts and Organic Magnesium Sugar Scrub for all of your bath needs.

For those of you who are looking for a magnesium daily supplement try my Organic Magnesium Deodorant.  It is all natural and healthy for your body. Using it twice a day will give you a daily allowance of magnesium.

The organic citrus and organic lavender essential oils will also benefit your overall health and I use these in all my products.  You can use them in the morning and in the evening.  They smell great and are a nice addition for your health.

The organic orange oil (Citrus) product line is called “Awaken” and is best used in the morning time. Orange oil is an antidepressant, cancer fighting agent, antifungal & antibacterial, immune booster, improves digestion, skin cleansing, anti-aging, reduces blood pressure, and is an anti inflammatory.

The organic lavender oil product line is called “Dream” and is best used in the evening time. Lavender oil helps aid with sleep, is a natural anti-inflammatory, relieves PMS, speeds up wound healing, migraine and headache relief, antifungal & antibacterial, and reduces stress and anxiety.

1. General use

For daily (non-targeted) use Organic Magnesium Oil Spray as a supplement. I recommend a up to 20  sprays on your back, stomach and/or legs morning and night. The stomach is also the perfect application spot to help with sugar cravings.

I recommend using these morning and night.  I offer a morning and evening essential oil option.  The organic citrus essential oil products are best used in the morning because of its stimulating qualities that awaken and lift the mood.

Organic lavender essential oil products are best used in the evening for its relaxing and calming qualities that promote good sleep.

Any of these products are great to use daily:  Organic Magnesium Oil, Organic Magnesium Body Butter or Organic Magnesium Deodorant.

The Organic Bath Salts and Organic Sugar Scrub are nice options to use in a bath.  Or you can use the Organic Sugar Scrub a few times a week to exfoliate your skin.

2. For relief of discomfort or pain

Apply the Organic Magnesium Oil to where it hurts. If you have a sore back - spray and rub onto that area. If you have aching or cramping legs - apply and rub into your legs.

I recommend all of my products: Awaken ~ Citrus & Dream ~ Lavender:  Organic Magnesium Oil, Organic Magnesium Body Butter, Organic Magnesium Deodorant, Organic Magnesium Bath Salts and Organic Magnesium Sugar Scrub.

If you are experiencing severe body pain I suggest taking a bath and use the Organic Magnesium Bath Salts Dream ~ Lavender.

3. For Period Pain

Depending on where the pain in, apply the Organic Magnesium Oil either to the lower abdominal area or lower back. You cannot overdose when using Magnesium transdermally so feel free to apply morning and night or as required.

I recommend my Organic Magnesium Oil or Organic Magnesium Body Butter to apply directly on your stomach or lower back for pain relief.

4. For Headaches & Migraines

For symptom relief apply the Organic Magnesium Oil to your neck and shoulders and a little on your temples using your finger tips.  Please do not spray directly onto your face.

For prevention it is best to apply daily. This can be targeted on the neck/shoulder area or general application anywhere as an increase in your overall Magnesium levels is key to prevention.

I recommend my Organic Magnesium Oil Dream ~ Lavender or my Organic Magnesium Body Butter Dream ~ Lavender.  Lavender Essential Oil helps relieve insomnia, stress, nervous tension, calms the mind, anxiety & depression, mood swings, alleviates headaches, muscle and joint pain to just name some of the many benefits.

5.  For Sleeplessness

You have a couple of options here. General daily application (wherever you like on your body) will build up your Magnesium levels which, in turn, should aid your ability to get a good night's sleep.

For a targeted approach, apply the Organic Magnesium Oil to your lower legs and soles of your feet 20 minutes before bed.  This is great to use on kids who have a hard time sleeping. (see dosage below for child’s age range.)

Things to note:

It is really important to remember, while Magnesium Oil can help with symptomatic relief, you will always get the best results if you use your magnesium regularly to build up your levels. This is especially important when using magnesium to help with stress management and energy levels.  Since our bodies flush out magnesium daily we need to replace it daily.

Please note people with kidney disease should consult their doctor before using a magnesium supplement of any kind including these products.

Recommended Daily Allowance of Magnesium:

How much magnesium should you take per day? Keep in mind that magnesium needs vary on different individual factors, like your age and gender. According to the NIH, below are the current RDAs for magnesium:

  • Infants–6 months: 30 milligrams

  • 7–12 months: 75 milligrams

  • 1–3 years: 80 milligrams

  • 4–8 years: 130 milligrams

  • 9–13 years: 240 milligrams

  • 14–18 years: 410 milligrams for men; 360 milligrams for women

  • 19–30 years: 400 milligrams for men; 310 milligrams for women

  • Adults 31 years and older: 420 milligrams for men; 320 milligrams for women

  • Pregnant women: 350–360 milligrams

  • Women who are breastfeeding: 310–320 milligrams

How much magnesium per day is best in supplement form?

This depends on the type of magnesium you take, the condition you’re attempting to treat, and if you’re deficient.

In some cases, high doses up to 800–1800 mg of magnesium daily for several months are given to help treat conditions like indigestion and irregular heartbeats, but this is done under supervision from a doctor.

Is it safe to take 500 milligram of magnesium a day? Most authorities state that doses less than 350 mg daily are safest for most adults; in other words, the “daily upper intake level” for magnesium is 350 mg for anyone over 8 years old.

Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, it’s best to take about 300–400 mg daily at most. For children, magnesium is safe when taken in doses of between 65 to 100 mg/day depending on age,  or up to 350 mg/day for children older than 8 years.
